Using this Soapstone Carving Kit is easy. First, take out the instruction booklet and have a read through it to get an idea of the process. Then, pick up the soapstone animal block, this is your blank canvas. Use the file to start rough - shaping your creature. After that, switch to the coarse sandpaper to smooth out the larger bumps. Next, use the fine sandpaper for a really smooth finish. Once you're happy with the shape, take the wax bead and rub it on the carving using the cloth to give it a nice shine. Remember, there's a choking hazard due to the small parts, so keep them away from children under 3 years. To maintain your carving, just keep it in a dry place and avoid knocking it against hard surfaces. If it gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a dry cloth.
