The domestic donkey, originally from Africa, is well - adapted to hot temperatures and has low food requirements. Often mislabeled as stubborn and stupid when it suddenly stops and refuses to move, this is actually a sign of its intelligence. Unlike horses, donkeys don't run at high speeds. In dangerous situations, they first assess the threat and then decide on the best escape route instead of panicking.

Using a donkey can be quite simple. You can use it for carrying light loads on farms or as a companion in rural areas. When handling a donkey, be patient as it might stop to assess the situation. Don't force it to move quickly as it needs time to make decisions. For food, offer it grass, hay, and a bit of grains. Make sure to provide clean water regularly. As for maintenance, check its hooves every few weeks for any signs of wear or injury. Keep its living area clean to prevent diseases. And give it enough space to move around and rest.
