To play Gemstone Caverns, first gather 2 to 4 players aged 8 or older. Each player takes on the role of a miner. The game lasts between 25 to 50 minutes. Start by rolling the gem dice. The result of the roll determines which jewels you collect. After rolling, arrange your gems by shape. Your goal is to fill your minecart with groups of 5 or more of each gem shape. When you think you have enough, take your gems to the local Gem Market to sell them to the Gem Buyer. The player with the highest score at the end wins.
