Blood is thicker than water, and so is plasma! This vital part of blood is super important for keeping you healthy. Plasma is the light - colored liquid that makes up around 55% of your blood. Red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets float in plasma, which lets them move through your blood vessels and all over your body. But plasma isn't just a simple transport for blood cells. It also takes waste to the kidneys, liver, and lungs so your body can get rid of it. Plasma helps keep your blood pressure normal and regulates your body temperature.
Plasma is about 93% water, but it's full of lots of important stuff like clotting factors, proteins, lipids, hormones, enzymes, antibodies, vitamins, minerals, sugars, salts, and fats. All these are really important. What's amazing is that if you remove the water, you can save the rest and then add distilled water later. This method was developed during World War II to help soldiers. Plasma can also be frozen and stored for almost ten years before use. That's why blood banks always have a good supply for medical transfusions. But they always need fresh plasma, especially the AB - type, which anyone can receive. So be grateful for this wonderful life - giving liquid and think about donating some!
Comes with one Plasma plush, about 5 inches long.
Using this Plasma plush is easy - it's great for playtime or as a decorative item. You can cuddle with it or display it on your shelf. Just keep in mind the choking hazard warning if there are kids under 3 around. To maintain it, you can gently spot - clean the plush with a mild detergent and water. Avoid machine - washing or submerging it completely. Keep it in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading. If it gets dirty, clean it as soon as possible to keep it looking its best.
