Camel Up

Ages: 8 and up. Players: 2 to 8. Play Time: 20 - 30 minutes. WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts, not suitable for children under 3 years. In Camel Up, up to eight players get to bet on five racing camels. The goal is to figure out which camels will finish first and second in a fast - paced race around a pyramid. The earlier you place your bet, the bigger your potential win if you guess right. But camels don't race in an orderly way. Sometimes, one camel lands on top of another and gets carried towards the finish line. The movement of the camels depends on the dice rolled from the pyramid dice shaker, which releases one die at a time when players take a break from betting to see who's moving.

To play Camel Up, first gather 2 to 8 players aged 8 or older. Each player gets a chance to place bets on the five racing camels to predict which ones will come in first and second in the race around the pyramid. The earlier you place your bet, the more you can win if your prediction is correct. When it's time to move the camels, use the pyramid dice shaker. It releases one die at a time. Roll the die to see which camel moves and how far. Remember, camels can stack on top of each other and get carried forward. As for safety, this game has small parts, so keep it away from children under 3 years to avoid choking hazards.
