Maybe there's no specific reason, but we all decided to stay indoors and make feisty little loaves with our temperamental starters. Sourdough is THE iconic bread, always has been and always will be. Its unique flavor and texture make it a timeless favorite for bread lovers.

Making sourdough is a fun process. First, you'll need to activate your sourdough starter. Mix it with flour and water, then let it sit until it's bubbly. Next, add in some salt and more flour, and knead the dough until it's smooth. Shape it into a loaf and let it rise in a warm place. When it's doubled in size, bake it in a pre - heated oven at around 375°F for about 30 - 40 minutes. Remember, this is a large item, so there might be an extra shipping fee. To keep your sourdough fresh, store it in a paper bag at room temperature. If you want to keep it for longer, you can freeze it. When you're ready to eat, just let it thaw at room temperature.
